John is a highly successful multifaceted filmmaker. but he is primarily known as the founder and creative director of Tropfest.

His directorial feature film credits include “Hide and Seek” with Robert De Niro and Dekota Fanning, and “Tenderness” with Russell Crow.

John has filmed a number of TVC including the iconic  “Big Things” for Telstra BigPond featuring the famous blue kombi van.
